In our work we use the most modern and accurate equipment in the field such as ABEM WalkTEM 2-TEM instruments; ABEM Terrameter LS 2 Res/IP as well as licensed processing and interpretation software Aarhus SPIA - ground-based TEM software; RES2DINV/RES3DINV.
APPLICATIONS
Groundwater research and exploration
The high sensitivity to conductive materials makes TEM extremely useful in groundwater studies, for example distinguishing between fresh, saline, and saline deposits, monitoring the depletion and recharge of an aquifer, or simply estimating its extent by building profiles or borehole networks.
Prospecting and exploration of mineral deposits
With multi-component measurements and the ability to determine IP (induced polarization), it is possible to measure how the ground voltage reacts when current is applied and removed. Using the Aarhus SPIA TEM, induced polarization (IP) methods measure the charging ability of the ground, which as electrical resistance will differ depending on the current ground conditions.
Archaeology- the non-destructive study of archaeological sites
Environmental - study of dangerous geological phenomena and processes, potentially dangerous clay structures, the study of pollution from various sources, and groundwater pollution.
